The Fort.

We made fort.
It was raining outside and we were bored so it seemed appropriate.

The kids were in and out all day long.
Coloring, watching movies, snuggling with pillows.
This $4 sheet from the DI was definitely worth it.

Parasailing.

We went parasailing on our way to Managaha Island for Father's day.
Brace yourself for a "well documented" event.
The winds were really strong that day so they suggested we go up at the same time. I was thrilled to hear this because quite honestly, I was a little nervous to be dangling in a parachute over the ocean where there are (maybe) sharks and huge fish and who knows what else.

I was a little bummed that you can't see Tim very well in most of the pictures but at the same time it's kind of fun to look like a four legged-four armed creature.

We were pretty high. We (more like I) had to not think too literally about how high we were especially since we were just harnessed into a flying contraption over the water. The views were amazing. I wish so badly we could have taken a camera up there. I felt bad for Tim because they wouldn't let him take his eye glasses up there. The water was so beautiful and we even saw a sea turtle. They're all migrating to shore to nest right now and we were so lucky to see it.

Our friends were riding in the boat watching our kids and Owen was very thoroughly enjoying it.
*The water was honestly THAT blue.

Shy guy.

The water was seriously the most beautiful color that day.

June didn't particularly care for the boat ride and grasped onto Tim as soon as we got unharnessed. It was so sweet. She just wanted her Dad to be there to protect her and Tim held her tight.

Tim has been the favorite for awhile now. The kids basically jumped him when he was finished with parasailing. I get it, he's pretty cool.

Seriously dying over the water. You'd think after a year in Saipan I'd be over it but I still take a million pictures when I'm near it.

The Managaha Ferry. It was booked solid for the entire weekend. Thankfully the boat for parasailing took us back and forth.

Managaha Island.
It's made lists for being one of the most beautiful beaches in the WORLD.

This pictures cracks me up. Owen's tongue, Tim's half blink and June's "cheese" grin.

This kid just wanted to play in the sand.

Tim helped them turn our lunch chopsticks into drumsticks.

The dock.

WWII guns.

Our friends saying goodbye as we loaded the boat.

This kid seriously loves the wind in his hair.

This one not so much. She held Tim in a death-grip almost the entire time.

Flametrees on Saipan.

Fish at the dock.

It was a VERY memorable Father's Day. One that Owen and June's Father absolutely deserved.

Dad's Day Morning.

Father's Day morning looked something like this.
Breakfast in bed, with presents and snuggling kids.
I bought Tim some Clark's sandals that unfortunately, didn't fit but his Mystery Men
dvd sure cheered him up. :-)

Knee chairs.

Artwork in the front yard. (Unfortunately it only lasted a day because of the heavy on/off rain here)

We noticed days later that I spelled "around" incorrectly. Whoops. That's what you get at 6am!

Admiring his art.

And then we went island hopping...

Love like a Man.

This totally happened.

Because this guy is just THAT awesome.

more to come on the subject.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there! Love like man!
